I wanted to try a cheaper topper to make sure I liked the idea. There are many on the market that are well over 200.00. The part cheapens the topper, but if you put powdered eye shadow on the part, it blends well and is not so prominent. I received several compliments the first day I wore the topper. I have thinning, grey hair on my crown. The topper made a huge difference in the volume. I also bought the one without bangs. Not liking that one as much. It seems to look more fake. But that’s just for me. Overall, this is a good starting piece which is very comfortable to wear.***Update***Since I washed this topper piece, the part looks much better(more natural) It also lighten up some as well, as it was freshly dyed hair. I have styled it using a curling iron and it held the curl nicely. It is a great product for the price.My hair has been getting thinner and thinner everyday. I have lost even more since I've had covid. This hairpiece has made such a difference. I feel so much more confident then I have in a long time. I highly recommend this hairpiece. My hairdresser dyed it to match my own hair color. No one can even tell it isn't my own!This product was horrible the clamps would not let your hair lay down flat it was lumpy is not worth the money…. Should have returned it.Pretty but no instructions and you have to sew on clipsI haven’t brought it to my stylist to color it, nor actually worn it other than putting it on to see how it looked, but I’m very relieved that the “scalp” part looks completely natural. I have experience cutting my own hair bangs, so I cut the front section a little because of my smaller forehead.I am in love with this! If you need your hair to match it better, I used Revlon Ultra Light Sun Blonde on my mid lengths to add a bit more gold to my actual hair, which blended beautifully with the gold tones in this.This product is very comfortable. It says it is 100% human hair but I took it to my salon to have it dyed with the color hair dye I use and it really didn’t take the color which is a sign of synthetic and not real hair. I need to have the bangs cut also and since it really wasn’t that expensive I’d figured if it got ruined from dying it I really wasn’t out a lot of money. It did however hold up really well with the dye and wash and dry so there was no loss there. People who see me in it say they would never know it was a hair piece. I would recommend this product.I bought this topper for my mom who is losing her hair due to COVID. She always had thick beautiful curly hair and when she started losing it, it was devastating to her and those of us around her watching it. She had lost well over 50% of her hair and already had bald spots with no end in sight. I mean EXACTLY her hair color. The fit, the texture, the color were perfect. Hers even had a natural curl to it when we washed it so she can wear it like that as well. My mom went from being deeply depressed, vowing to never leave her home again, to being happy and excited to go do things with the family. This turnaround was literally instant and an answered prayer. I’m not saying it will be this way for everyone, but we couldn’t let our experience go untold!
