I just ordered these and went ahead and tried them out. Ladies these are amazing clips! These are a game changer for me! I ALWAYS wear my hair up and was getting tired of flimsy clips that didn’t hold my hair or pony tail holders that take my hair with them when they come out. These are sturdy and tight! They do not hurt your head and you can lean back against anything and they don’t stab you in the head! You will not regret getting these! I have two adult daughters and told them about these and they have now ordered a set.There are reviews stating they are too hard to open. I do not find this a problem because you don’t want a flimsy clip that opens easy and doesn’t hold your hair in place.Great strength, great colors! Worth the moneyVery hard to open to put in hair, they break very easily the springs pop off along with the little parts that holds them togetherThey work really well for my thick hair. Others seem to break once you try to pull all your hair up. But these have held up great! Only broke 2 because I fell and landed on the back of my head and it broke. And then I stepped on another. Lol so totally my fault on those ones.These are great jaw clips at a great price. They hold my hair without any slipping. Important to note that the black are a MATTE BLACK. Not shiny at all. I love the matte finish, it’s more subtle in my hair than the shiny black.These were supposed to be the non slide ones. Which they are definitely not... not as happy as I thought I would be. There are the non slide ones these are just not it.They are the perfect size for medium length and think hair !These look as pictured, and the correct number arrived on time. However, I find them extremely difficult to hold open while attempting to place into my hair. Almost impossible from the "closed" position, and I have no known physical limitations. Also, the matte coating is not strong - it has already peeled away in spots after using 2 times. Not worth the money, just get some from the drug store and save the hassle.Love the matt finished colours and the strength of these clips. I am ordering more so I can have them in my car, on my purse, on my night table, in my backpack. Just everywhere! What more can I say ... I love them!I've looked everywhere for this style of clips.
